1. Schedule dedicated follow-up time. Start by setting aside daily time blocks specifically for follow-ups. Even just 30 minutes each day, such as from 9:00 to 9:30 AM, can make a significant difference. Commit to this routine and gradually increase the time as you become more comfortable.
2. Assess your strengths. Identify whether you’re operating in your zone of competence or your zone of genius. As a highly productive Realtor, your strength likely lies in building relationships rather than handling administrative tasks.
3. Hire an assistant. Consider delegating non-follow-up activities to free up more time for client interactions. This could involve hiring a transaction coordinator, an executive assistant, or even someone to handle household chores. Having more leverage will free up your time for follow-ups.
