Are you having a hard time closing more deals? If you’re an agent struggling with sales, there are a few simple things you can do to turn things around. These five strategies helped me grow, and I know they can help lift your business, too.
1. Master your database. A really good CRM leads to more money. You can start by segmenting your contacts, organizing your leads and past vendors list, and automating reminders so nothing slips through the cracks. You should also track things like calls, birthdays, and check-ins. More importantly, stay consistent with your monthly touches through texts, calls, emails, and value drops.
2. Be a local digital authority. Post local content three to five times a week, like market updates, behind-the-scenes clips, and community highlights. Use platforms like YouTube and Instagram Reels to increase your visibility and position yourself as a local advisor, not just a salesperson.
3. Lead with value, not just listings. Share resources people actually need, like buyer or seller guides, lender referrals, and moving checklists. Setting up a simple toolkit also goes a long way. Additionally, you can run free webinars or Q&A events to share information about the local market.
4. Build relationships strategically. Get involved in the community by volunteering, attending events, or supporting local schools. At Hvizda Realty Group, we recently did a client event with the Fisher Cats baseball team, and it was a huge success. It boosted our business and made an impact on the people we serve.
5. Have a solid game plan. Use time blocking to lock in your high-value work, ideally in the morning. Stick to a daily routine. For instance, you should gain three new contacts, do two follow-ups, and make one post either daily or every other day. Keep it simple and stay consistent.
