Learn more about how tracking your development can yield great results.

In both our professional and personal lives, there are aspects we take more seriously than others. For me, one of those crucial aspects was my business, where tracking and monitoring played a significant role. Yet, when it came to my personal life, I was guilty of neglecting this essential practice. The turning point in my journey was when I realized that tracking could be the missing piece in achieving my health goals, especially while following a vegan, plant-based diet and battling Lyme disease.

For years, I proudly adhered to a whole foods, plant-based diet, conscious of the nutritional value of every morsel I consumed. I thought I was doing everything right, prioritizing organic, healthy choices. But despite my best efforts, I noticed that I was gradually gaining weight, and I couldn’t understand why. It wasn’t until I participated in classes where self-assessment was a recurring theme that I took a hard look at my physical health.

I consistently rated myself poorly in the physical category. It was a wake-up call, a clear signal that something needed to change. This realization prompted me to seek professional guidance. I enrolled in a coaching program focused on vegan fitness and nutrition. Within just ten days, the importance of tracking became apparent.

What I discovered was eye-opening. Despite eating what I believed to be the right foods, I was not paying enough attention to the metrics that truly mattered. My weight gain had a logical explanation – I was eating haphazardly. This revelation is what inspired me to share my journey with you today.

“Knowing what to measure and tracking it diligently can lead to transformative results.”

The key takeaway here is that you can’t manage what you don’t measure. I’m not suggesting that you should obsessively track every detail of your life, but when you aspire to improve an aspect of your life, identifying the essential metrics is crucial. Tracking them consistently, ideally for at least five days a week, allows you to uncover trends and patterns. With this valuable insight, you can make meaningful, lasting changes.

So, why am I sharing this with you? Because I want you to understand that, just like me, you too can benefit from the power of tracking. Whether it’s your diet, fitness, or any other area of your life, knowing what to measure and tracking it diligently can lead to transformative results.
