I sat down with David, our newest member and officially our new Director of Talent Attraction. We talked about why he joined, what his role looks like, and what kind of people we’re hoping to attract to the team.
Why David joined Hvizda Realty Group. When I asked David what drew him to Hvizda, he shared that it was the team’s energy, pace, and high standards that pulled him in. David is stepping in as our Director of Talent Attraction. During our interview, we laughed a little about how the title might sound like a sales role. But David said it’s more about sharing the culture and the opportunity that exists here. It’s also helping the right people discover what this team can offer, not pushing anyone into a decision.
He felt the momentum and knew he wanted to be part of it. That enthusiasm and alignment with our values were clear from the start.
A unique and meaningful hiring process. One thing we hear often is how different our hiring process feels, and I wanted to know what stood out most to David. He told me the KPA process really made an impact, not just in connecting with the company, but in learning more about himself. It gave him a chance to reflect on his journey and the values that matter most to him. And as we went through it, it became clear just how closely those values aligned with ours.
Who we’re looking to attract. I asked David to put into a nutshell who we’re really trying to attract, and he said it beautifully: people who are hungry, humble, hardworking, and people smart. We’re not looking just for licensed agents or people already in real estate. In fact, it could be someone making a career change or just getting started. What matters is character and values. Those are what tie everyone on our team together.
Why this opportunity is bigger than just a job. One thing David shared that really stood out to me was his focus on the bigger picture, specifically, the opportunity to build wealth. He mentioned that wealth typically comes through one of three paths: business, equities, or real estate. For him, the potential in real estate is huge, and being on a team like ours is a powerful way to tap into that. It’s a big part of what draws people to what we’re building here.
One thing we’ve believed at Hvizda for a long time is that agents should be full-time and earning beyond just their basic needs. Once you’re there, you can start investing in real estate, and that’s where real freedom starts. Our goal isn’t just to help people build a real estate career. It’s to help them grow to a point where they don’t need one anymore because they’ve built lasting wealth through the very work they’ve mastered.
