1. Save up to six months of expenses. This helps make sure that you are fully getting into real estate and building authentic relationships with your clients. There are things you can do to reduce your monthly expenses as you prepare to live commission-based. Go through your credit card statements and highlight what you can cut out.

2. Set up a separate checking account and a credit card. When you start your business, you want to make sure that all your real estate income goes to a business account. Additionally, having all your expenses on one card will make life so much easier.

3. Read “The Millionaire Real Estate Agent” by Gary Keller. This is a foundational book on how to build your business. Everything you need to know is in this book.
